PTA Giving Trees: Our great PTA has been hard at work putting up the “Giving Christmas Trees” outside each classroom door.  The ornaments on the trees are gift ideas, if you would like to give a gift to your child’s teacher.  If you want to give one of these gifts, please take an ornament off of the tree so that others know that, that gift is being given.  Thanks to our PTA for doing this fun project!

Fifth-Grade Students Held Wax Museum

Recently Brockbank Elementary fifth-graders held their wax museum. The students picked a famous person in American history, they did research on that person, memorizing interesting and important facts, and then they got to dress-up like that person for a day. During the day, students from other grades were able to visit the museum and learn about these famous Americans. That night there was a program so that parents and grandparents could come and see what the students had learned. It was a very fun and educational experience for all that participated.

Brockbank kindergarten students in Mrs. Tara Farr and Miss Clarissa Putnam's classes have been learning about the letters in the alphabet. Recently while learning about the Letter P and since pigs start with the letter P, the students put on the play, "The Three Little Pigs". Each student had the opportunity to act out a part either as the wolf or one of the three pigs. It was a fun way to learn about the letter P.
