Brockbank Offers Summer Reading Program!
We are excited to offer a summer reading program this year at Brockbank. The goal of our program is to keep students reading in the summer. Summer school runs for eight weeks, beginning the week of June 8, and running through July 23. If you decide to participate your child will be assigned a 45 minute class that meets twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. There is forms in the office if you are interested in participating in this program. The tuition for summer school is $30 per student.

Brockbank Third Graders Compete in Hershey Track Meet
Tuesday, April 28, Brockbank third-graders were excited to attend and compete in their first Hershey Track Meet. Third grade students worked really hard getting ready and did a great job competing.

Brockbank Kindergartners Enjoy Field Trip to Cal Ranch
Recently Mrs. Tara Farr and Miss Clarissa Putnam's kindergarten classes went to Cal Ranch to learn about baby chicks, ducks, and bunnies. This field trip went along with the unit about Farm Animals that is in the Kindergarten Core Curriculum. While there the students learned about how to take care of a chick, what they eat, how to keep them warm, etc. They also talked about how they come from eggs just like dinosaurs do so in a way a dinosaur is just a big chicken! The students were able to pet the chicks, bunnies, and ducks.

Brockbank Kindergartners Perform Program for Parents!
On Friday, April 24, kindergarten students at Brockbank Elementary entertained their parents and grandparents with a fun program. They showed them what they have learned this year by each student memorizing a small speaking part and by singing songs. The students worked really hard practicing and performing this program and all of them did a great job!
BYU's Mascot Cosmo Helps Student Celebrate His Birthday!
Tyson Almodova, a fourth-grader in Mrs. Cynthia Loreen's class, had a special visitor come to school for his birthday. BYU's mascot, Cosmo came to Tyson's class and helped him hand out his birthday treats!
