Wednesday, October 12, for Red Ribbon Week students wore purple to represent that, "Brockbank Students Stand United Against Violence". Teachers reinforced the importance to students of being violence free. At the end of the day Principal Alison Hansen drew two names of students wearing purple and they each won a gift bag donated by Terry and Louise Crook from Chick-fil-A. Thanks to kindness of not only Mr.and Mrs. Crook, but to Penny Giles, who was able to get donations from several businesses; Deana Hill from State Farm, Trent Hartl from LKQ, Sergio Martins from Matins Collision Repair, Rocky's  and also David and Jackie Almodova for the BYU gifts. Because of these generous people, teachers have been able to hold classroom drawings each day for lucky students wearing their red wrist bands to win a fun gift. By the end of the week each student should be able to take something home.
