Congratulations to Ms. Kristi Jensen for being awarded Brockbank's Teacher of the Year! Kristi has been teaching for 29 years. Before coming to Brockbank she taught resource for one year in Idaho, 10 years at Grant Elementary, and 15 years at Larsen. We are so glad she came here.

Kristi grew up on a farm in the small town of Richfield, Idaho. She was the youngest of six children. Kristi likes gardening, hiking, biking, camping, reading, watching movies, and electronic scrapbooking. She loves to volunteer, visit, and meet new people. Her peers say, "she is a dare devil, a prangster, but most of all generous and kind. She makes school fun!"
Principal Larraine Nelson said, “Ms. Jensen is a special education teacher for our UEI unit. She guides her classroom with firm direction that sets the course for these students to reach their full potential. She values their worth. Students trust her, love her, and are succeeding because of her. Ms. Jensen develops a great parent-teacher relationship. She is kind, patient, and caring. She always has a smile on her face and makes learning fun. Ms. Jensen has a heart of gold.”
