Brockbank Staff Spotlights

This weeks Brockbank staff spotlights are Mrs. Alison Hansen and Mrs. Kamee Diamond. Mrs. Alison Hansen is the Principal at Brockbank. She and her husband live in Lake Shore, they have one daughter and three sons. Alison likes reading, water sports, snow skiing, biking, quilting (which she said she would love to get better at), and cheering on her kids at all of their activities. Some of her favorites are the color blue, Carmello and Reeses Peanut Butter cups, Ben & Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk Ice Cream (sounds yummy!), listening to mostly country music, the movie, "When Harry Met Sally", and eating at Ruby River. Alison's favorite vacation destination is to Kauai, Hawaii. Something she said no one knows about her is that when she is in the car alone she sings like a superstar! Alison is on her 8th year as principal at Brockbank. Before coming to Brockbank she was at Canyon and Spanish Oaks doing her principal training, before that Alison taught pre-algebra, algebra, and integrated science at Springville Middle School. She also taught chemistry at Spanish Fork High School. We are so happy to have Alison as our Principal! Alison is a great principal and friend to everyone! Something cool that maybe not everyone knows is that she was a "Brockbank Bronco" when she was in elementary school and all of her kids have been too except her youngest and he will be one day!

Mrs. Kamee Diamond is a special education technician at Brockbank in Mrs, Shelley Thomas' class. She and her husband live in Santaquin and have one daughter. Kamee likes photography, softball, camping, Scentsy, and tractors. Some of her favorites are the color yellow, singer Miranda Lambert, chocolate, Junie B. Jones books that she reads with her daughter, the movie, "Pretty Woman", and eating at Texas Road House. Her vacation destination is to go to Jackson Hole. Something Kamee said no one knows about her is that she and her husband have nine John Deere tractors (yes, she said 9) and she loves to pull in tractor pulls. In the summer they travel around to different pulls. Kamee has been at Brockbank for the past four years and before that she worked as a Transitional Kindergarten technician at Art City Elementary. "Miss Kamee" as the students in her class call her is a fun person to be around. She always has a smile on her face when you see her in the halls!
