This weeks Brockbank spotlights are Mrs. Terri Jensen and Mrs. Julie Hardy. Mrs. Terri Jensen is the school counselor here at Brockbank. She and her husband live in Lake Shore and have three sons. All of her sons have attended school at Brockbank and Lance still does. Terri likes the guitar, singing, reading, gardening, people, music, and sports. She likes basketball and enjoys any team her son is on. Some of her favorites are the color blue, Butterfingers, chicken alfredo, the song, "I Hope You Dance" sung by Lee Ann Womack, the movie, "Blind Side", the book, "The Walk" written by Richard Paul Evans, and eating at Olive Garden. Terri's favorite vacation destination would be to go to Hawaii! Something she said no one knows about her is that she is pretty good on the kazoo (with her musical talent that isn't surprising)! Terri has been a school counselor for 15 years, 6 of those at Brockbank. Before that, she spent 6 years at A University for Children (K-12), 2 years at Spanish Fork Middle School, and one year at Provo High. Before becoming a school counselor Terri was case worker for DSPD and a case manager for Project Lift (supervised living for disabled adults). We are so glad Terri came here to Brockbank, the students love her and so does the staff! Mrs. Julie Hardy works with students as a STAR tutor here at Brockbank. She and her husband live in Spanish Fork. They have three sons, two daughters, and 6 grandkids. Julie likes reading, sewing, gardening, walking, but most of all spending time with her kids and grandkids. Some of her favorites are the color red, peanut M&Ms, apples, the book, "The Hobbit", the movie, "Cast Away", musical group the Beatles, and eating at Olive Garden. Julie's vacation destination is to go to Yellowstone! Something she said no one knows about her is that all of her five children attended elementary school at Brockbank! Yeah Broncos! Julie has been a STAR tutor for the past eight years, six years as an employee and two years before that she volunteered at Brockbank. She said she loves her job! We are so glad she does because we love having her as part of our staff!
