Brockbank sixth graders had a wonderful time learning about ecosystems with a visit from Loveland Living Planet Aquarium.  The Aquarium has furthered its mission to inspire students to explore, discover and learn about Earth’s diverse ecosystems and has launched a new traveling program, the Eco-Van, for sixth-grade students.

The Eco-Van program demonstrates how the stability of populations is affected by changes to an ecosystem.  Our sixth graders now have a better knowledge of how each factor in an ecosystem can affect many others.  We had some 'mixed reactions' from our visit! Lauren and Lora taught us about ecosystems. Everyone got to touch a hedgehog, armadillo, cockroach, and python! We had so much fun and learned a lot! Thank you Loveland Living Planet Aquarium for visiting our Brockbank Elementary sixth graders!
