Brockbank Librarian Read Fun Halloween Story to Students

Submitted by brenda.johnson on

Brockbank's librarian, Mrs. Peggy Rothaug, is always doing something fun in the library for students to learn. She recently read the book, "On Halloween Night", by Harriet Ziefert. It is a story about a little girl named Emily getting dressed to go out on Halloween night. What costume will she wear? She has a cape that her grandma bought to go with the skirt that her grandpa brought. There are socks with stripes on the side, a purse with strings untied. She has a necklace all twisty and black, and a spooky pointed hat. "On Halloween Night" is a rhyming book with cute pictures that brings Emily to life as she gets ready for Halloween.  Mrs. Rothaug dressed one of the students like the character Emily as she read the book.
