Hello, Brockbank Families!

Today our POWER WITHIN theme is, "The Power to be Appreciative!" We know that sometimes it's hard to recognize the great things in our lives, especially during these times, when it's a little hard with the changes that we are facing! It is amazing how much better we will feel if we take the time to show gratitude and appreciation for the things we DO have. Focusing on the positive, like our BFF lesson taught us, will help us be happy! See what you can do today to show appreciation! Write your family members a note, make a card for your grandparents, do a chore for a sibling, write a letter to a friend, or send an email to your teacher! There are lots of ways to show your appreciation for the good things in your life!

Thursday - Power to be Appreciative - Sprinkle gratitude everywhere

Friday - Power to be a Friend - Find a creative way to reach out to a friend or be a good friend to a sibling, parent, etc.

We would LOVE to have students post pictures and tag our Brockbank Instagram account, @brockbank_broncos, #brockbankbff #lookatbrockbank #brockbankbest how they participated this week! You can also send pictures to brenda.johnson [at] nebo.edu (brenda[dot]johnson[at]nebo[dot]edu)

Just a Few Reminders:

School Closure

We all just got word that students will not be returning to school for the rest of the year! We are so sad to hear this but know that it is for our safety.

We will continue with our At Home Learning as usual and will plan to go up until May 22nd, which is the last day of school.

I have not received any official direction from our district, so as soon as I get direction from our Superintendent I will send out a message to you all! We do have some plans in place for getting personal belongings to students and will let you know as we get those plans solidified. Thanks so much for your patience!

Please keep in communication with your child's teacher for current At Home Learning Activities and Events!

Grab-N-Go Meals

Beginning Monday, April 13th, Grab-N-Go meals will be restricted to free sites only. All other sites will be closed down in effort to consolidate resources. Meal pick-up will change to 10:30 a.m. through 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is available for all children, ages 0-18. Grab-n- Go meals will include both breakfast and lunch.

Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for all you are doing! We are here to help! We love and appreciate you and your child! Give them our BEST!
