Hello, Brockbank Families!

We are quickly winding down our school year and there are many activities and events that are coming up, alongside of year-end testing. Please make sure you mark your calendars and check the website for information.  Also, please feel free to call the office if you have questions.  It is an exciting time and there are so many fun things our students have to look forward to!

State Debate: We are so proud of our debate team that attended the State Debate Tournament on Friday.  We are thrilled to announce that Timber Cote  and  Kate Ethington  took 5th place, and George Heywood and  Peyton Thorpe took 2nd place! Congratulations to these awesome students!  Our students represented Brockbank so well!  Thanks to Mrs. Peterson, Mr. Hunt, and Mrs. Bryson for all their wonderful help!  Our students were well prepared because of the awesome help they received!

Year-End Testing: Our students are busy with testing, and our younger grades are getting ready for their paper/pencil testing beginning soon.  If your child is going to be absent, please let his/her teacher know.  We need to make time for rescheduling if students are gone.

Track Meets: THE 3RD GRADE TRACK MEET IS CANCELLED!  We will let you know when it will be rescheduled.  May 2--4th grade track meet, May 9—5th grade track meet, May 16—6th grade track meet, May 12--the Super Star Track Meet.  The meets will be held at the Spanish Fork football field, and the Super Star Track Meet, for Ms. Jensen’s class, will be at Maple Mountain High football field.  Please make sure of the following things:

Your child is dressed for any kind of weather.

Your child knows if he/she will be eating school or home lunch.

Your child has sun screen and water.

We will be providing a sun tent for shade at Spanish Fork.

Parents, you are welcome to come to the field and support your child.  At Spanish Fork you may sit on the field, but please make sure you are respectful of the participants running and that you stay off the track. At Maple Mountain High you are welcome to sit in the bleachers.

This summer there are many opportunities for your child to take some fun ARTS classes.  Your child will be bringing a note home with some of these activities, and there are also flyers posted in the school windows that tell about each class offered!

Thanks for the many things that you do that help our school run so smoothly!  We have a great school and the students here are the best!

Mrs. Nelson
