Hello, Brockbank Families!
This has been quite the weird and wild weather and we appreciate your help and patience with schedules, bringing and picking up your child, and with making sure your child is dressed for the weather. Please make sure that if you are picking up your child that you only park in a stall if you come in the parking lot. We had quite a few “near misses” with the buses and cars. With this snow and ice, someone could easily get hurt.
We will be watching the weather each day and we will not have students go outside if the temperatures are too cold, if the air quality is poor, or if it is rainy or snowy.
We want to welcome two new teachers to our staff, here at Brockbank. We have Mrs. Julie Johnson, who is teaching 2nd grade, and Ms. Jasmine Weier, who is teaching 3rd grade! We welcome them here and know they will love working at Brockbank!
SEP Conferences: This Thursday, January 12th will be our SEP Conferences. Your child’s teacher should have sent home notice of your child’s schedule. We look forward to visiting with you! If you need to make changes, please contact your child’s teacher through email or phone. The front office WILL NOT have SEP schedules.
DDD: This Friday, January 13th will be a District Development Day, which means there will be NO SCHOOL for students!
School Fundraiser: Just an FYI! Our school fundraiser will be a school-wide walk-a-thon! We are scheduled to begin the fundraiser January 17th and will go until January 26th, which will be the day of the walk-a-thon! We are excited to try this indoor walk-a-thon where we will have 100% participation!
