Happy Birthday to Brockbank Elementary!
Hello, Brockbank Families!
We've started our birthday celebration with the 100th day of school! We had many students dress as if they were 100 years old! Check the web to see some very old students, here at Brockbank! Tomorrow, Jan. 26th will be our '50s Day where we will dress up like they did when the school first opened in 1959. Wednesday, Jan. 27 will be Backwards Day and the students are invited to wear their clothing backwards. Thursday, Jan. 28th will be our Sports Day and students may dress up in their favorite sports wear. Friday, Jan. 29th will be our SWAP Day and students may dress like teachers and teachers may dress like students! We appreciate our great Spirit Council that came up with our fun activities!
Tomorrow, January 26th, is our Zupas Family Night from 5:00-9:00. We will be sending home the vouchers that you take and give at the register. We appreciate your support with this partnership with Zupas! We have made over $600.00 that we can put towards classroom items and technology!
The students have earned over $400.00 for our service learning project! The students will use this money to make quilts that they will donate to Primary Children's Hospital. We will continue this fundraiser until Friday! Our goal is to earn $2000.00! Any amount you send is so appreciated!
This is also the last week for Boxtops and as of right now, 6th grade has taken the lead with the most Boxtops brought in! Keep sending them our way!
