Hello, Brockbank Families!

I hope you are doing well and finding some fun things to do with your family! I just wanted to communicate a few things with you as we are getting closer to the beginning of a new and interesting school year! Take care and thank you for all you are doing! We love our families and hope you are all doing well!

I will be sending information as we receive updates!

Registration for the 2020-2021 School Year

Just a reminder that school registration will open Monday, July 13th, and will go until July 30th. You will be able to access the link to register your child on the Brockbank Website or the Nebo School District Website.

You will be able to do everything online; Update your information, contacts, email addresses, phone numbers, etc., pay school donations, ($25.00/student) pay for lunch and orchestra fees for sixth grade students. You will also need to make a choice for your child between At School Learning and Remote Learning. New families with students coming to Brockbank, and kindergarten students will be able to scan and upload their information (proof of address, immunization records, and birth certificates) for registration.

We will have a walk-in registration day as well, towards the end of July. More information will come soon for that.

Students will be able to find out who their teacher is the first part of August. We will let you know the exact date!

Reopening Information

Hopefully you all received the letter from our Superintendent. It outlines guidelines and requirements for students to safely return to school in August. I know there are many concerns and individual situations for both students and staff that need to be addressed. I want you to know that our staff and I are ready to teach, ready to help, ready to do what is best for students. While we may not have every answer to every question yet, we have the expertise of each teacher that knows children, knows curriculum, and knows how students learn. We will figure things out! These are challenging times for everyone, but we have taught our students that we can do hard things, attitude is everything, and we can RISE above challenges!

Our theme this year is “TOGETHER WE RISE!” Together we can do this. Our teachers are planning to help students academically, physically, emotionally, mentally, and socially. It is important for students to be at school and learn face to face. If this can’t be done, we totally support the Nebo District remote learning choice that will follow State Standards and be taught by a certified teacher. We will gladly help you with that choice as well. It will take ALL of us to help each child and we can do it! We have wonderful families that have helped, and continue to help our school be the very BEST!

We are planning protocol for sanitizing, classroom set up, lunch, social distancing, and visitors, as well as breaks where students can be free from wearing their masks for a bit. We are doing all we can to keep students and staff safe. We want learning to take place and to be as normal as possible!

Please have confidence in what we are doing and know that we are here for you! We love our students and can’t wait to be with them again!
