Hello, Brockbank Families!

Today we had our BFF lesson on resiliency. We learned that we can do hard things and that looking for the good things in life can help us through challenging experiences. Please talk to your child about what he/she learned today!

MAKE A CONNECTION

We are learning more and more that we are losing connections with our youth! With texting, social media and such, we are losing some of the face to face interactions and conversations that are so vital to the development of our children! Each week I hope to add just a small reminder to make a connection with your child! Every little connection you make with your child helps him/her build a foundation of emotional, mental, physical and social stability.

This week's connection: Talk to your child about a time when you showed resiliency during a hard situation. Share how you were able to face this challenging experience and showed resiliency and how your child can do the same!

Safety FIRST

With the Spring weather coming on we will be having more students walking home. PLEASE make sure that you are driving slowly and carefully! PLEASE follow the procedures that we have in place and DO NOT park where there are orange cones. PLEASE do not park in the bus lane. PLEASE be patient while waiting for your child. We need to all help our students get home safely!

Tuesday, March 10th-Minimal Day

Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 10th, is our district minimal day. Our students will be dismissed at noon for walking students and 11:30 for bus students. This day is for our teachers to receive training from district specialists that will help them in the classroom. Thank you so much for your support for these days!

Shoe Drive!

Soles4souls is an International nonprofit organization that helps give African children a chance to have a real pair of shoes.
We would like to be able to collect 1000 pair of shoes from now through April 13. Any condition of shoes are acceptable. Please drop your shoes off in the box by the office.
This is for the Miss Utah Scholarship program!

Books and Buddies/Book Fair

Please mark your calendar for March 13th for our Books and Buddies! We invite our students to bring someone special and enjoy a doughnut, milk, and a walk-through at the Book Fair! The Book Fair will be open from March 13-March 19, from 8:15-8:45 and 3:00-3:45.

SEP Conferences

Our last SEP Conference will be Thursday, March 19th. We are excited to share the many great things that our students are doing each day! Your child will be bringing home a note with your scheduled time. If you are unable to make this appointment, please contact your child's teacher to reschedule.

Snow Day Make-up Day

I hope you all received the district email explaining the Snow Day we experienced, Monday, February 3rd, will be made up on Friday, March 20th. Originally March 20th was a comp day and we were not holding school, however, we will now have school that day and we will dismiss school at 2:15, as if it were an early out day, as February 3rd was supposed to be.

Fee Schedule

The Nebo School District 2020-2021 school fee schedule will be reviewed in the February 12 and March 11 school board meetings in preparation for approval in the March 11 board meeting. If you would like to provide input, you can attend one of the board meetings or send your comments via the following link:
