Hello, Brockbank Families!

Welcome to March! There is a lot going on this month and we are excited for SEP Conferences, the PTA Book Fair, and field trips! We look forward to some fun things!

We hope that you are encouraging your child to read! We have the Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Rodeo Challenge going and we want every child to meet his/her goal! Those that meet the goal will get to put their name in a drawing for rodeo tickets, boots, a hat, and pants! We appreciate Spanish Fork City for sponsoring this reading challenge!

MAKE A CONNECTION

We are learning more and more that we are losing connections with our youth! With texting, social media and such, we are losing some of the face to face interactions and conversations that are so vital to the development of our children! Each week I hope to add just a small reminder to make a connection with your child! Every little connection you make with your child helps him/her build a foundation of emotional, mental, physical and social stability.

This week's connection: With Spring coming around the corner, talk to your child about being active and going outside to enjoy the great weather! Talk about the things you liked to do outside with friends and family!
