Hello, Brockank Families!

WECOME BACK TO SCHOOL!

Dear Brockbank Families,

What a great first day of school! It is always so fun to see our students return in their fun school clothes, with their backpacks, and big smiles! We are so fortunate to have such great students at Brockbank! We also appreciate our families and all that you do to support us! It's going to be a great year!

School T-Shirts

If you would like to order a school T-shirt, the orders are due by Tuesday, August 27th. The shirts are $8.00 and hoodies are $15.00. Thanks to Amy Engle for taking care of this for us!

Brockank Dress Code-PLEASE HELP YOUR CHILD

Please help your child choose proper dress attire for the new year. Please remember that shirts, blouses, and dresses worn need to cover shoulders- no tank tops. Also, shorts need to be longer than fingertips, when arms are placed to the side of the body. PLEASE help your child check his/her clothing before he/she comes to school. Thank you!

REFLECTIONS-2019-2020

Start working on projects for the Reflections Contest! The theme for the 2019-2020 school year is

LOOK WITHIN!

Reflections is an art program to celebrate the creativity of students. The summer months, when things aren't so busy, are the perfect time to spend some time with your child to get ready for the Reflections program. POP INTO READING

We are planning on our “Pop Into Reading” party for those students who have read the required amount of time during the summer. Calendars are due to your child's teacher by August 23rd.

Safety

Parents, please follow our school rules that we expect our students to follow! Please be an example! Here are some reminders:

*If you are picking up your child, you will need to park on 300 West. If you park on the east side, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE YOUR CHILD CROSS AT THE INTERSECTION WITH THE CROSSING GUARD.

*If you want to park in the parking lot, you will need to park your car, then walk in and get your child.

*If you are coming into the school to get your students, please wait in the front entrance until the bell has rung.

We want to keep our students safe, and even though you may be with them, we need you to follow the rules as well.

School Community Council

Parents, we are looking for parents that would like to serve on our School Community Council. We meet once a month and make important decisions about our school! We discuss the greatest needs of our school, how to effectively use our budget, and analyze our data about our school. We would love to have you involved. If you are interested, please come in and fill out the application for election.

Box Tops

Please also remember to keep collecting Box Tops! Students can bring in their Box Tops and give them to their classroom teachers!
