Hello, Brockbank Families!

I want to thank our awesome PTA for all of their hard week these last few week! Our "We are Lucky to Have Our Students" Week was wonderful, along with the Book Fair, help with SEP Conferences, and not to mention all the help in classrooms has been amazing! We have such wonderful people serving our students! Thanks so much to our PTA!

Champion's Reading Challenge

The Diamond Fork Riding Club is sponsoring a reading challenge for our students! Those students that meet their grade level reading goal for the month of April will be able to put their name into a drawing where they may be drawn out for rodeo tickets and Justin Cowboy boots. We appreciate the Diamond Fork Riding Club for helping our students value reading and know the importance of opening up a book! Please help your child keep track of his/her reading and encourage him/her to READ!

Spring Break!

Just a reminder that April 1-5 will be our Spring Break. There will be no school! Enjoy your time together as a family!

PTA Meeting

Our next PTA Meeting will be this Tuesday, the 26th, at 2:00. We hope to see as many of you as we can to help plan great things for our school! Thanks for all you do to make our PTA great!

Kindergarten Registration Update

There has been a change with Kindergarten Registration! We will NOT be having an early pre-registration for kindergarten as we have in the past. Kindergarten Registration will be at the same time as our regular registration for all students that is normally done in the summer. More information with this announcement will be coming.

District Track Meets

Here are the dates of upcoming Track Meets:

4/23-3rd Grade

4/30-4th Grade

5/7-6th Grade

5/14-5th Grade

On the day of the track meets, students will walk to the Spanish Fork High School football field and will sit in the bleachers. We will provide a shade tent for the section where they will sit. Please send your child in appropriate clothing-dressed for any kind of weather-with good running shoes. They will also need water and a hat/cap to shade their faces. Please make sure your child has sunscreen as well. Parents are welcome to come! Please make sure you are sitting on the football field and out of the way of the finish line.

BOX TOPS

Please keep collecting your BOX TOPS! Bring them in to help our school out!

Unplug and Connect-How Electronics Impact the Human Brain

Parents, I want to let you know about a special presentation by Dr. Christy Kane, that will be held several times, throughout our district. Dr. Kane has done research on the neurological changes that take place in the developing brain due to the impact of electronics. I have heard Dr. Kane speak a couple of times and she is awesome! Her research is amazing and there is definitely information parents should be aware of. If you have time to go to one of these sessions, it will be well worth your time.

April 15th-Spanish Fork High School-7:00pm

Math Lab

Parents, in the mornings at 8:30, we have two wonderful ladies that are here to tutor students in math! If you feel your child could use extra help with homework, please send him/her in the mornings to our math lab, located in the library!

Please keep collecting your Box Tops!
