Brockbank Announces Champions Challenge Reading Contest Winners

Spanish Fork is hosting the 2017 Wrangler Champions Challenge Rodeo again this year on Saturday, June 3 at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds. To help promote the rodeo and at the same time to encourage students to read, the city offered a Champions Challenge Reading Contest. Students that met their reading goal for the month of March got his/her name put in a drawing where one student from each grade won two tickets to attend the rodeo. Out of those students, 2 lucky students were drawn to receive not only the 2 rodeo tickets but a pair of Justin boots, a pair of wrangler jeans, and a cowboy hat. Brockbank students read a total of 151,320 minutes for the month of March! Way to go! Lucky grade winners were; kindergarten -Maggie Shepherd, first grade - Chloe Wilkinson, second grade -Olivia Adams, third grade - Brykken Kruitbosch, fourth grade - Porter Olson, fifth grade -Jaqueline Rodriguez, and sixth grade - Ella McClure. Out of those students the boot, jean, and hat winners were Olivia Adams and Ella McClure. All of the winners will get to meet real rodeo cowboys and cowgirls!
