Author Visits Brockbank

Brockbank School was delighted to hear from author Peggy Eddleman on December 2, 2014.  Ms. Eddleman is the author of the Sky Jumpers series and has recently released the second and final book in the series.  She entertained the students with fun stories about the characters in the book as well as shared ideas of how and why she got her ideas to write.  Our favorite part of her presentation was the message that kids should work to their strengths in making a difference - each student has a strength, whether it be a great mechanical writer or a fabulous imagination. Capitalizing on strengths is how you become excellent at something, such as writing.  It was an enjoyable morning for Brockbank students and staff.
