Mrs. Amberly Kariuki  is this year's recipient of the Horace Mann Crystal Apple Award. Amberly teaches fourth grade here at Brockbank. She taught 1 year at Nephi before coming to Brockbank, where she has taught for the past 14 years. Amberly and her husband live in Provo and have one daughter.

Mrs. Tara Farr writes about Amberly;

"I worked with Amberly for seven years in kindergarten. Amberly is such a good listener and kind friend. She helped me feel welcome at Brockbank when I started teaching here and was always there to talk to. She had a lot of great teaching ideas that were great for young children. She puts in a lot of extra time focusing on how to help her students. I had a lot of fun working with her and I am so excited she is receiving the Crystal Apple this year. She deserves it! Congratulations Amberly!"

Mrs. RaDawn Anderson writes about Amberly;

"Amberly is such a great teacher and team member! She is very organized. She is always learning new things that improve her teaching, and she is so kind to share that knowledge with us. She made a cool computer game that the students loved! Amberly has vast knowledge in technology and is so generous to help out team with that. Thanks Amberly for always keeping us on track!"
