Hello, Brockbank Families!

We are so excited for our Teacher Appreciation Week this week!  I just want to take a minute and let our wonderful teachers and staff know how much I love them and appreciate the hard work they all do!  They are a remarkable group of individuals and help to make Brockbank be the very best!

Kindergarten Students Find Pot of Gold

Kindergarten students were so excited to celebrate leprechaun day in Mrs. Tara Farr’s class. All week  leprechauns left green and gold dust around the classroom. Friday, March 16, students used their special leprechaun spy glasses to hunt for leprechauns in the school. The leprechauns left the students a pot of gold hidden in their classroom!

Hello, Brockbank Families!

Thank you so much for coming to our SEP Conferences!  We had a  great turn-out and  we loved celebrating your child!  If you were not able to come, please contact to your child’s teacher and arrange a meeting! 

We appreciate your support at the Book Fair!  We also want to thank our awesome PTA for taking charge of that and allowing us the opportunity to buy so many great books!

We want to thank you for your contributions to the Diabetes Fundraiser!  We made over $1400.00.

Brockbank Students Love Miniature Horses

Shasta Parry, along with her miniature horses came to Brockbank and gave a presentation called, "Say WHOA to Bullying". Pony brothers, Rhett and Royal, came to Ms. Kristi Jensen's class. These ponies have the same dad but different mothers and were born a day apart.  The ponies were friendly and love to cuddle. Students in Ms. Jensen's class loved them and really enjoyed having them come to their classroom. 

Book Fair Kicked-Off with Dads and Donuts

Friday, March 10, Brockbank Elementary held  "Dads and Donuts", hosted by the PTA to kick-off the annual spring book fair. Students, along with their dads, moms, grandparents, or other special family members were able to come and browse for books through the book fair and then enjoy a donut and milk. Thank you to the PTA for sponsoring this fun morning! 

 

Alan Clark Classified Employee of the Year

Brockbank is happy to spotlight our Horace Mann classified employee of the year, Alan Clark.   Alan is our head custodian. He has been here for almost a year. Alan and his wife live in Spanish Fork and have 3 daughters and one son. All of his children attended elementary school at Brockbank, his youngest daughter is in first grade.  Alan likes hunting, camping, traveling, going to MLB games, church sports, watching his girls dance and play the violin, and watching his son play high school baseball and football.

Brockbank Second Grade Students Enjoyed Dr. Seuss Day!

Second grade students made Dr. Seuss soup in celebration of Dr. Seuss' Birthday. They read "Hop on Pop" and added popcorn to their soup. Later they read, "Green Eggs and Ham" and added candy eggs. They then read, "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish" and added fish crackers. Last they read "Sneetches" and put in gummy bears.  At the end of the day they read Dr. Seuss books and ate their delicious soup.

Hello, Brockbank Families!

Thanks to all those who came to our Dads and Doughnuts on Friday!  We had a super turn-out and we loved having such a great crowd at the Book Fair! Thanks to our wonderful PTA for all their hard work!  Our PTA Book Fair will be going this week, before and after school.
