Living Planet Aquarium Representatives Visit Brockbank

Recently Brockbank second grade students had the opportunity to have representatives from Loveland Living Planet Aquarium visit and teach all about Rainforest animals. The presentation started off by discussing all the continents and the various rainforests on each continent. Students then had the fantastic opportunity of seeing and interacting with animals from the rainforest. Animals included in the presentation were a Rainbow Boa Constrictor, Hissing Cockroach, Blue Tongue Skink, Crocodile Skink, Blood Python, Crested Gecko, and finally an Eclectus Parrot.

Hello, Brockbank Families!

We are looking forward to a great week, here at Brockbank!  There are plenty of good things going on, such as field trips and activities that our students are looking forward to! Remember to always check the website for details of upcoming events!

I'm so proud of our Debate students and how they represented our school at the district tournament!   They walked away with many great awards and honors!  Thanks to Mrs. Peterson, Mr. Hunt, and Mrs. Bryson for all their hard work with our students!

Ribbon Cutting Event Planned at Brockbank

Friday, Brockbank will be having our special "Buddy Bench" Ribbon Cutting at 2:00 pm!  We appreciate all the support we have received for these benches.  The Buddy Benches are a place for students to go when they are feeling alone.  When other students see them sitting on the bench, they can go and help them have a friend. Everyone is invited! We look forward to this special event!  

Brockbank Bronco Best Students for January

Brockbank is happy to announce our "Bronco Best" students for the month of January! Bronco's Best are students that set an example of great behavior, kindness, and service!

Brockbank's PTA Wants Your Box Tops!

Brockbank's PTA for the month of February challenged students to bring in 10 box tops. Each student that brought in at least 10 box tops was given a ticket for a free cup of hot chocolate during lunch recess.  

Congratulations to February's box top winners- Miss Clarissa Putman's kindergarten classes  brought in 378 box tops with Mrs. Tara Farr's kindergarten classes a close second with 348, Mrs. Emmalee Stewart's first grade class brought in 280, and Mrs. Michelle Egbert's third grade class brought in 254.

Brockbank Kindergarten Students Enjoy Teddy Bear Day!

Friday, March 11, Brockbank kindergarten students held their, "bring your Teddy Bear to school day". Students had the opportunity to bring their favorite teddy bear or other stuffed animal to school to spend the day in class learning and playing with them.  When it was time for the students to go home, the teddy bears got to stay and have a slumber party at school. The next day when the students came to school they found out that their animals had made a mess in their classroom.

Brockbank PTA Holds Annual Spring "Dads & Donuts" to Kick-Off Book Fair!

Friday, March 11, Brockbank Elementary held  "Dads and Donuts", hosted by the PTA to kick-off the annual spring book fair. Students, along with their dads, moms, grandparents, or other special family members were able to come and browse for books through the book fair and then enjoy a donut. Thank you to the PTA for sponsoring this fun morning! 

The book fair will run the week of March 14 -17 before school, during lunch, and after school and all evening Thursday night during SEP conferences.
