Congratulations to sixth grade student, Elley Colledge, for competing in the Nebo District Science Fair and moving on to State. Elley did her science fair project on Left or Right Pawed? Her question was; Do dogs favor one paw over the other like humans? Her brother brought home a dog as they were teaching him tricks they noticed he continually favored one paw over the other and wondered if other dogs did too. Elley decided to find out so she tested 10 different dogs, ranging from size, age, and gender. She did several tests on each dog.

Brockbank Sixth-Graders Participate in Science Fair

Submitted by brenda.johnson on

Brockbank sixth-graders recently participated in a science fair. Students learned about the scientific process and were then challenged to go home and conduct an experiment that answered a scientific question. The sixth-grade teachers were amazed at the quality of work done by the students. The students worked really hard on their projects. Parents and students from younger grades had the opportunity to go into the gym and look at the projects and ask questions.
