Hello, Brockbank Families!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROCKBANK! We are so excited to celebrate Brockbank's Birthday this week! The Spirit Committee has come up with some great activities, one of which started today with Fifties Day! It was fun to see a lot of poodle skirts, slicked back hair, and rolled up cuffs! It's fun to imagine life as it was when Brockbank first opened! The rest of the week is as follows:

*Tuesday, 1/29-100th Day of School! We are dressing as if we are 100 years old!

*Wednesday, 1/30-Crazy Hair Day! Because...we are crazy about Brockbank!

*Monday, 1/28-1950s Day! Dress as if you lived in 1959, when Brockbank opened its doors for the first year.

I want to thank you all for coming to SEP Conferences. It was such a pleasure to see you and your child. We have a great staff here and I know they were anxious to share all the great things that are going on in their classrooms as well as our school! Thanks so much for your support!

We also had a great night at Classic Skating! Thanks for coming out and supporting our school! The students had a great time and we are so appreciative of our PTA for sponsoring this fun family activity!

I just want to wish you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!  I hope the New Year brings you all the happiness you and your family deserve!  This is such a special time of year and it’s so wonderful to share the excitement here at school!  I love working with you and your child and love the special spirit that each child brings to Brockbank!

Hello, Brockbank Families!

There is certainly an excitement in the air with Christmas just around the corner!  We have many fun things planned during the next two weeks that will be awesome for our students!

We appreciate our PTA for putting up the "Giving Trees" by each teacher's door.  These trees have ornaments on them with specific things/ideas for your child's teacher, if you are needing ideas for a gift for your child to give to his/her teacher!  If you are interested in doing this, just take an ornament from the tree.

Winter is finally here and the students are so excited to see the snow!  PLEASE make sure you send your child in warm clothing and please label all winter clothing!

It was great to be back from the long break!  I hope you each had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day and enjoyed time with family and friends! 

Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather.  It looks beautiful outside, but it is cold.  Please send a coat or jacket with your child, and please label it.  Thanks!
